2023/24 Lithuanian Government Scholarships for Short-Term Studies: The Lithuanian Government Scholarships 2023–2024 are open to students from all over the world who meet the necessary qualifications and who wish to pursue short-term study in courses that qualify. The scholarship will cover the costs of one or two semesters at a university in Lithuania.
15 students will get financial assistance from the Lithuanian scholarship, including a monthly allowance, full tuition, and other benefits.

2023 Lithuanian Government Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the Lithuanian Government Short-Term Scholarships 2022, applicants must fulfil the requirements listed below:
- The Lithuanian higher education institution must give the applicant official approval of acceptance (Conditional Agreement).
- The applicant must be enrolled at a higher education institution or employed there as a student, lecturer, or researcher (researchers in philology or linguistics only) (except Russian citizens).
- The candidate must be fluent in Lithuanian, English, or any other language needed to participate in the selected study programme.
- The selection process will give preference to candidates who attend or teach at Lithuanian science centres and who formally or formally study Lithuanian as a subject at their home institution.
Scholarship Benefits
- Successful applicants will receive a monthly scholarship of approx. 630 EUR.
- Tuition fee will be covered.
- Any other fees such as a student union fee, a library membership.
- Travel and accommodation costs covered.
