Rotary Peace Fellowships 2024: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates with work experience in peace and development for the Rotary Peace Fellowships 2024 fellowship Designed for leaders with practical experience in peace and development.

The Rotary Foundation will launch up to 50 fellowships for master’s degree programs and more than 40 awards for degree studies at leading universities. Applications are hereby invited from interested candidates from all over the world to apply for the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024.

Rotary Peace Fellowship 2024 | the details

The Rotary Fellowship 2024 includes both a master’s degree program and a professional development certificate program that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to study peace and development issues through research-informed teaching and a diverse student body as well as full-fledged field studies and social change initiatives during the professional development certificate program. Rotary Peace Fellows are committed to community as well as international service that will engender peace.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be proficient in the English language.
  • Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university before applying for the fellowship.
  • Applicants must possess a strong commitment to intercultural understanding and peace as demonstrated through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service.
  • Applicants must have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work.
  • The applicant must demonstrate strong leadership potential.
  • Applicants must be able to explain how their peace promotion plan aligns with Rotary’s mission.

International Development Policy, International Peace and Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, Peace, Conflict, Security and Development, Social Sciences.

Application procedures

How to apply: Interested applicants for the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024 should apply for the program via Application link After reading the following:

  • Find curricula and programs at each of the Rotary Peace Centers. You will be asked to arrange two centers of your preference for the Master’s program and one center for the Certificate programme.
  • Submit your application by May 31st. Applications require a resume, academic and/or professional recommendations, essays, transcripts, a social impact plan (Certificate only), and test scores (Masters only). All materials must be in English.
  • Get an endorsement. As part of the application process, you need to contact the District Rotary and get endorsed. Districts are the regional Rotary representatives located around the world. You can locate and contact your local Rotary directly through the app platform. The district will interview you and then provide a decision to endorse your application.
  • Engage with Rotary. Use the Club Finder to locate the Rotary Club closest to you. Contacting the club is a great way to learn about Rotary work in your community and around the world. Club recommendations are optional, but highly recommended as part of your application.
  • Waiting for selection results. Email notifications will be sent in November. If you are selected for a fellowship, you will be told which peace center you will study at.
  • Apply for admission to the university where your peace center is located. Being selected for a fellowship does not mean that you have been accepted into the university.
